Nashville SC announces radio partnership with 102.5 The Game

Nashville SC and 102.5 The Game have reached an exclusive English-language radio broadcast partnership for the 2018 season, the club and station announced Thursday.

At least 20 Nashville SC matches this season will be broadcast on 94.9 FM, a sister station to 102.5 The Game, the station announced Thursday. The broadcast slate begins with Sunday’s game against Louisville City FC.

“Expanding the Nashville SC footprint to as many soccer fans as possible has been one of our highest priorities from day one,” said Nashville SC general manager Christopher Jones in a press release from the team. “This radio deal with ESPN The Game gives our fans another platform that is committed to covering all Nashville sports through its excellent live programming.”

“We are thrilled to announce our partnership with Nashville SC,” said Cromwell Radio market manager Jana Hampton. “As a locally owned radio group, we are focused on serving the community where we live and work and we strive to give listeners Nashville’s Best Sports Talk each day. Aligning with Nashville SC helps us deliver on those objectives. It’s a great fit.”

Golden Goal’s Wes Boling will serve as the play-by-play announcer for Sunday’s match.
